Mobile Hotspots

Request New Service

To request a hotspot for University-use, please click on the 'New Hotspot Service' button.  The following information is required in your request:

  • A statement of approval from the account holder approving the purchase (an email/document can be attached in the service request)
  • Account code to be billed
  • Name of the user and their department

Cancel / Suspend Service

If a hotspot is not needed for a prolonged period of time, the service can be suspended for up to 6 months.  The rate drops to $10/mo for a suspension.  Please note: if the hotspot is used even once during the suspension, you will be billed the full price for that month.  It will also be removed from suspension status and you will need to submit a new request to have it placed back on suspension. It won't be suspended again until the next billing month.

Cancellation takes 30 to 45 days.  

Request Assistance

►  Before submitting a ticket for a non-working hotspot, please make sure you have followed the troubleshooting guide first.  If your problems persist after that, submit a ticket with the 'Request Assistance' button.

►  If you will be traveling out of the country or near a United States border, please submit a ticket ot have your rate plan adjusted so as to avoid international charges.  Make sure to submit this request at least 2 weeks in advance of travel.
