Any equipment or software that connects to a computer or the network requires IT authorization prior to purchase or use.

- keyboards and mice (all types)
- flash drives and external hard drives
- headsets/microphones
- speakers
- iPads
- monitors
- USB Hubs/docking stations
- printers and scanners
- cameras
- A/V equipment - projectors, TVs, sound systems
- conference phones
- drawing tablets
- computer cables (HDMI, USB, etc)
- surge protectors, battery backups
- software
- online services/subscriptions through third party vendors
- enterprise level applications/services
- online hosted services/softwares
- etc, etc.
If you are needing an item that is not listed here, but are unsure of whether or not it needs approval, please ask! There are some items that do not require our approval, but we are happy to give guidance and recommendations. Examples include, but are not limited to: monitor privacy screens, laptop/computer stands, USB rechargeable flashlights, etc.
