Q:  What is CloudCard?

A:  CloudCard is the parent company of our online photo submission service.  CloudCard Online Photo Submission has been recently branded to CloudCard RemotePhoto.


Q:  Why do I have to upload a picture of my government-issued ID?

A:  In order to obtain a TAMUCT student ID, a government-issued ID is required as documented in our TAMUCT Student ID Card Issuance Policy.  It is used strictly for the purposes of identification verification.  


Q:  What happens to my photo once it has been uploaded?

A:  Please see our Policy on Release of TAMUCT Digitized Photographs - TAMUCT Student ID Cards.


Q:  What happens to the photo of my government-issued ID once it has been uploaded?

A:  Please refer to our Policy on Release of TAMUCT Digitized Photographs - TAMUCT Student ID Cards for detailed information.


Q:  What are the requirements for the ID photo?

A:  As outlined in our TAMUCT Student ID Card Issuance Policy:

  • No hats or other headwear are allowed except for religious reasons. The same rules for Passport and other government issued ID’s will be followed.
  • No sunglasses are allowed on the head, around the neck or in the shirt except for visually impaired patrons.
  • No “funny” faces or gestures will be allowed.
  • Eyes must be open and facing camera.

Q:  Can I have my TAMUCT ID card mailed to me?
