Policy on Release of TAMUCT Digitized Photographs - TAMUCT Student ID Cards

The use of any photography submitted through the TAMUCT ID Card online photo submission software is only to obtain a new TAMUCT ID Card.

Photo of government issued IDs submitted via the online photo submission process are not stored, retained, nor used on TAMUCT servers or business processes.  The government issued ID photos and their tie to the student’s TAMUCT account information is deleted upon acceptance of the profile photo.  The photos are deleted from view within the online card submission software and data connecting to the student's identity is anonymized.  Rejected profile photos are deleted upon acceptance of a new ID photo or after 30 days and data connecting to the student's identity is anonymized.

When a photograph is taken for the issuance of a TAMUCT ID Card, the digitized photo will be stored electronically for identification and security purposes. In addition, the photo may be used for approved internal college business purposes (e.g., class rosters, seating charts, academic advising rosters, and business/academic processes that may be approved in the future).
