Special & Temporary Enrollment Requests

Select a special temporary enrollment type from the request option buttons.

Notes to Faculty and Deans:

  • Only individuals with a current Active Directory account are eligible for the temporary enrollment options available on this page.
  • Deans must originate requests for Faculty Reviewers and Peer Mentors.
  • Chairs may submit requests for Embedded Librarians

Permissions allowed per role:

  • Faculty Reviewers Have "View-Only" access. Interaction with or editing course content, submitting work or comments, and communication with students is disabled.
  • Embedded Librarians Have permission to interact on Discussion boards and communicate through Canvas Inbox. Editing or adding course content outside of Discussions is not permitted.
  • Peer Mentors Have permission to interact on Discussion boards and communicate through Canvas Inbox. Editing or adding course content outside of Discussions is not permitted. ***See notes on updating your Canvas course settings, below.

***Canvas Course Settings required for Peer Mentors

  • Edit Discussion permissions to allow students to create discussion topics (permission option located on Discussions page).
  • Mark Peer Mentor Excused from all assessments in the GradeBook to prevent skewing course-grade results.
