Wireless Access
This is only for guests to campus who do not have a TAMUCT account. All students and employees should connect to eduroam on their personal devices for wifi access.
If you are an employee whose department, group, or organization has a guest on campus for a meeting, event, or other business/educational purpose, temporary guest wireless accounts may be requested from the TAMUCT IT Department.
Requirements:
- Requests for guest wifi accounts must be made by the TAMUCT affiliated department who is sponsoring the guest/event. Requests from the guest themselves will require validation from the TAMUCT sponsor and will not be generated until validation is received.
- Requests for guest wifi accounts must be made 48 hours to 1 (one) week in advance.
- Guest wifi account information will be sent to the sponsoring department at the end of the day before the requested date.
- Please include the following information in your request:
- Number of passes needed
- Name(s) of guest user(s)
- Department sponsoring the event guest(s)
- Date(s) and time(s) the pass(es) are needed
Guest Computer Account
This is only for guests to campus who do not have a TAMUCT account. If this is an internal TAMUCT event with no external guests, guest computer accounts are NOT needed.
If you are an employee whose department, group, or organization has a guest(s) on campus for a meeting, event, or other business/educational purpose, temporary guest computer accounts may be requested from the TAMUCT IT Department. If you are working with a vendor or contractor whose product requires access to TAMUCT's systems, please refer to this article.

- Requests for guest computer accounts must be made by the TAMUCT affiliated department who is sponsoring the guest/event. Requests from the guest themselves will require validation from the TAMUCT sponsor and will not be generated until validation is received.
- Requests for guest computer accounts must be made 48 hours to 1 (one) week in advance.
- Guest computer account information will be sent to the sponsoring department at the end of the day before the requested date. If you would like to test the account(s) prior to the event date, please indicate this in your ticket.
- Please include the following information in your request:
- Number of guest accounts needed
- Department sponsoring the event or guest(s)
- Date(s) and time(s) the account(s) are needed
