  • Sign In To PC
    • Verify the PC is on by looking in the opening of the lectern and checking that the power button is illuminated.
    • Once the computer is on, move the mouse or hit the space bar on the keyboard to bring the PC out of hibernation mode.
    • The computer monitor should now Display the sign in screen.
    • Log in to the PC using your normal credentials
  • Power on projectors and system
    • Touch the touch panel once to wake it up so it displays the university seal.
    • Touch the Room Mode button and choose the room mode you wish to have, separate or combined, and touch the close button.
    • Touch the screen to turn on the system. At this point the projectors will turn on and the screens will drop down. The computer screen should display on the screens within a few seconds.
    • On the home screen choose the input mode you wish to use. Main PC is the default input mode.
    • Ensure the volume is set for any audio you may have.
    • If microphones are needed they are located inside the podium. 
      • Microphones only work when the system is on.
      • Microphones have on/off switches on the side of the microphones
  •  Room Modes
    • If the Combine room mode is chosen, the projectors on both sides will display the computer input on the screens.
    • If the Separate room mode is chosen, the projector will only display the computer input for that room. To use the other room, it will have to be turned on from the second podium and the computer input from the second podium will be displayed on the second side.
    • The microphones will also be separated by room at this time
      • Note: If the rooms are going to be used in the separate mode, coordination should be made with the event staff to have the Air Wall lowered to separate the rooms prior to the event.
    • Side Wall Projector: 
      • Should the need for the side wall projector arise, touch the Displays button on the touch panel. Turn the Side Projector and Screen on by using the associated power buttons and arrows for the screen to lower.
  • To Power System Off
    • Push the POWER button the lower right of the screen. It will ask if you are sure. Select yes, this will power down the entire system that was selected at the beginning of the event.
