Heritage Hall Seminar Room Operation
- Power ON.
- Tap the control panel to wake it up.
- On the control panel (on top of the desk), press the “On” button.
- Powers on the projector and document viewer.
- Select Device on Control Panel to Use
- Main PC - Displays PC on projector screen
- Doc Cam - Displays document viewer (roof mounted).
- If the doc cam doesn’t come up, press the light on/off button twice
- Use the up and down arrows to zoom in and out (yes it is that slow)
- Laptop HDMI (HDMI – Thin, rectangular connector) - Displays Laptop connected via HDMI cable in cubby.
- Laptop VGA (VGA – Large blocky connector) - Displays Laptop connected via HDMI cable in cubby.
- Connecting a Laptop (PC or MAC)
- Open the cubby lid by lifting up and sliding down.
- Pick either the VGA (large blocky) or HDMI (flat rectangular) cable to connect to your laptop.
- If using VGA, make sure to connect the audio connector to the headphone port on the laptop.
- Connect the blue Ethernet cable for internet/network access.
- Select on the control panel Laptop HDMI or Laptop VGA to display the laptop on the projector screen.
- On the desk there are multiple adapters that convert the HDMI to other connections
- Using Wall Mounted HD Cameras for Video Conferencing
- Choose video conferencing application you intend to use (WebEx, Zoom, GoTo Meeting etc...)
- Start program, then start meeting and navigate to Video and Audio settings
- Ensure the video setting is on "AV Bridge 2 x 1". If this setting is correct you should see the camera on the screen.
- Ensure the audio setting is on "Use System Setting (TesiraFORTE). If this setting is correct you should see the mic volume bar moving.
- On the Touch Panel, go to the Advanced Audio and Video screen and ensure that none of the mics are in a MUTE state
- Go to the Camera Control screen and use the camera controls to adjust the angle and position of each camera
*** Laptops may require audio/video settings configuring to work properly***
- Power Off
- Pressing the “Off” button on the control panel powers off the projector/Doc cam
***Please be sure to turn off all equipment except the PC after your class***
