How to Report Phishing and Junk/Spam Emails

► To report from your TAMUCT O365 account on the web (students, staff, and faculty) OR the New Outlook desktop client (staff and faculty):

  1. Select the questionable email in your inbox.
  2. Click the ‘Report' button in the ‘Home’ tab of the Outlook ribbon.
  3. Select ‘Report phishing’ or 'Report junk' from the drop down menu.
  1. Right click the questionable email.
  2. Hover over ‘Report’.
  3. Click ‘Report phishing’ or 'Report junk'

► To report from the classic Outlook for Windows desktop client (staff and faculty):

  1. In the ‘Home’ tab of the Outlook ribbon, there is a ‘Report Message’ button at the far right*.
  2. Select the questionable email in your inbox, and then click the ‘Report Message’ button.
  3. Select ‘Phishing’ or 'Junk' from the drop down menu.

*If you do not see this button in your TAMUCT Outlook, please submit a service request.
