Founder's Hall Classroom Operations

Power ON

  •            Verify the PC is on by opening the door on the bottom right of the desk and checking that the power button is illuminated.
    •              On the control panel (on top of the desk), press the “On” button.
    •              This drops the screen down and powers on the projector.
    •              Ensure the monitor is turned on

 

  •              Select Device on Control Panel to Use
    •              Doc Cam - Displays ELMO document viewer (right-side of desk).
    •              Main PC - Displays PC on projector screen
    •              HDMI (Rectangular connector) - Displays Laptop connected via HDMI cable in cubby.
    •              Laptop (VGA – Blue connector) - Displays Laptop connected via HDMI cable in cubby

 

  •              Playing DVDs
    •              Use PC and installed software to play DVD media

 

  •              Connecting a Laptop (PC only)
    •              Open the cubby lid to the right of the monitor by lifting up.
    •              Choose either the VGA (blue) or HDMI (flat rectangular) connector to connect to.
    •              If using VGA, make sure to connect the audio connector to the headphone port on the laptop and audio jack in cubby.
    •              Select on the control panel HDMI or Laptop to display the laptop on the projector screen.
    • *** Laptops may require audio/video settings configuring to work properly***

 

  •              Power Off
    •              Pressing the “Off” button on the control panel powers off the projector and raises the projector screen back up.

 

***Please be sure to turn off all equipment except the PC after your class***
