TAMUCT IT offers wireless access to anyone with a University NetID or myCT account on their personal devices (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.) The SSID name is eduroam.
Android 11+ Instructions:
- In your device's wireless menu, select 'eduroam'
- EAP method: PEAP
- Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA certificate: Trust on First Use
- Online Certificate Status: Do not verify
- Domain: tamuct.edu
- Username/Identity: Full University email address, i.e.: netid@tamuct.edu or jd001@my.tamuct.edu
- Anonymous Identity: Full University email address, i.e.: netid@tamuct.edu or jd001@my.tamuct.edu
- Password: Your University account password
- Accept the certificate
- Connected!
geteduroam Configuration Assistant Tool:
- Download geteduroam by SURF B.V from the Google Play Store
- Find Texas A&M University-Central Texas on the list (Searching Central Texas will bring us up as the first result)
- Click us and follow the prompts
- Alternatively, scan the QR code below for an even quicker setup

Note: University-owned laptops are pre-configured to connect to the wireless network and will not connect to eduroam. If you are having problems with your University-owned laptop not connecting to the wireless network, please contact the Warrior Tech Desk.
