eduroam Wifi - Android

TAMUCT IT offers wireless access to anyone with a University NetID or myCT account on their personal devices (laptops, phones, tablets, etc.)  The SSID name is eduroam

Android 11+ Instructions:
  1. In your device's wireless menu, select 'eduroam'
  2. EAP method: PEAP
  3. Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
  4. CA certificate: Trust on First Use
  5. Online Certificate Status: Do not verify
  6. Domain: tamuct.edu
  7. Username/Identity: Full University email address, i.e.: netid@tamuct.edu or jd001@my.tamuct.edu
  8. Anonymous Identity: Full University email address, i.e.: netid@tamuct.edu or jd001@my.tamuct.edu
  9. Password:  Your University account password
  10. Accept the certificate
  11. Connected!
geteduroam Configuration Assistant Tool:
  1. Download geteduroam by SURF B.V from the Google Play Store 
  2. Find Texas A&M University-Central Texas on the list (Searching Central Texas will bring us up as the first result)
  3. Click us and follow the prompts
  4. Alternatively, scan the QR code below for an even quicker setup

Note:  University-owned laptops are pre-configured to connect to the wireless network and will not connect to eduroam.  If you are having problems with your University-owned laptop not connecting to the wireless network, please contact the Warrior Tech Desk.
