Open Apps in the Dock:
- An open app in the Dock has a white dot underneath it:

- If you need to restart or close an app, always right click it and select Quit to completely close the app.
- Clicking the red button in the app's window does not completely close the app like it does in Windows (PC)
- It is useful to keep apps closed so that your system can run faster
- Multiple large apps, like Adobe CC apps, will bog down your system or cause slow restarts/logins if too many are open at once
